FAQ

  • Do you provide the jacket?
At the moment I do not provide the jacket for two reasons: 1. I'm very small at the moment so that is not something I am able to provide at the moment. 2. Since it's custom, I want it to fit you as best as possible! Because of this, I do have you ship the item that is being customized to me (freshly laundered of course). Once a payment has been recieved, a shipping slip will be sent to the email provided. Use that to ship your item to me, I'll customize it, and then it will be sent back to you all new and shiny! If you are having trouble locating a jacket, I will help you source one at an additional fee.
  • Do you only work on Jackets?
Nope! The cool thing about chainstitch embroidery is that there are a variety of materials I can embroider on. I've done jackets, pants, sweatshirts, robes, even a wedding blanket or two! There are some items that I do not work on at the moment though, such as t-shirts, windbreaker material, and direct work onto leather (I will make patches to sew onto leather items though) Please contact me through the contact form here for your specific project.
  • What is the process?
Putting in a request for a custom piece is easy! 1. Put in a custom request via form or email - Submit the request with all the details you can. Even if you don't have a specific idea, Tell me about what you love or what inspires you. I will email you back with ideas, details, and a quote within 1-3 business days. 2. Pay Deposit and Send In your Jacket- If you decide to proceed, a 50% deposit will be due upon reciept of invoice. Once that is sent in, you will be emailed a shipping label with which to send in your items. 3. Design Time!- This is one of my favorite parts! You and I will go over mockups for your design. Once you've signed off on the final mockup, it's time to begin stitching! 4. Stitch Time!- Now its Josephine's turn to make some beautiful music and bring your design to life! 5. Pay Final Deposit and Ship the Items Once your jacket is done, I'll send you a picture of the final piece, as well as the final invoice. If everything looks good, then you'll pay, and I'll pack up your items and ship them out to you! 6.Enjoy!- You enjoy your new custom pieces, and take some great photos (and tag me at #teighlormade and @teighlormadeco while you're at it!)
